It's been so long...

I haven't posted anything on here in a while. It makes sense though because this blog was for school posts only, when I was a sophomore. I am now 21 years old, I graduated high school in 2012. Since I graduated high school, I've gone to vocational schools for stenography, and Medical Assistant. Of course since I can never make up my mind about what I want, I never finished any of those courses. The reason I started to write on this blog again is because I've had 3 diaries in my lifetime. I love diaries and I feel like writing in them is therapeutic for me in some way. Unfortunately, I have lost two of them ( I'm really good at losing things). Losing my last diary made me worry about the one that I still have. Its not so much that I don't want people reading them, its more that I want to go back and read what I have been through and how much I have changed. It hurt me when I figured that I wasn't going to get my last diary back. I wrote so many beautiful things in there and I just felt like I lost 3 years of my life stories. adding to the fact that my memory is as good as someone with short term memory loss. Anyway, I have decided that It would be best if I blogged my life and the things that I go through, instead of keeping a diary that I might lose eventually. In this blog I'm going to express myself and just write what goes on my mind. mostly issues, thoughts, and RANDOM things. In the blog The Moon Was My Witness, I'm going to share my secrets,experiences, and thoughts. Please keep in mind the a lot of my writing and posts are not always going to make sense, and are going to be totally random!

My growth in the past two years

I feel that there are at least four ways in which I have improved in the past two years. I have better coping skills, I've gotten better at letting go of grudges, instead of wanting my way I try to look at the other persons point of view, and started to focus more on my own issues. Instead of letting things get me upset I try to make the best of a bad situation by not making things as bad as the other person I'm arguing with. I have gotten better at putting all the past into the past and starting with a clean slate. Like if someone did something to me a year ago I will just get over it and move on, because ten years from now I'm not going to know half of the people I lived with before. The third way that I've grown is I'm better at seeing the other persons point of view instead of insisting on my own,in particular I've been better at working with my house parents and accepting that they might be right. Lastly, I tried to focus more on my own problem before I get into other peoples problems. For example, when there is drama at my house or other houses I try to mind my own business and stay out of it.

Writing Discussion Questions

Do you think that kids who are mediocre will want to follow a specific set of guidelines for writing? Should they? Explain your answer. I think that kids who are mediocre will want to fallow the specific set of guidelines to a certain point because that point will depend on what their motivation level is, student's with more motivation will work harder to understand these guidelines and use them then the students that don't aim as high. Mediocre kids should follow a a specific set of guidelines because it will make them better writers and they will be motivated by their success. What do you think is a good way of getting a student to be a more motivated writer? I think that a student can be a more motivated writer when they can express how they feel in their own way. For example writing in a diary is better than writing on a piece of paper. Is it enough to edit your paper on the computer with spell check? It's not enough to edit your paper on the computer with spell check because you can come up with better ideas and rewrite your paper if you needed to plus spell check is just to make sure you spelled your word correctly and spell check will not tell you when you used the wrong word. Do you think that there is such thing as too much information in a writing piece? There is no such thing as too much information in a writing piece because things can always branch out and become more, then you end up with so many topics that you don't even know where you started.

My weekend

I'm looking forward for this weekend because I am going to my acting class on Saturday I think its my third class and I already made lots of friends but I'm mostly getting along with my partner because him and I connect with each other in a lot of thing by knowing the same people and liking the same things.After class I will probably see The nightmare on Elm street movie that came out on April 30!Th I'm also going to go to church on Sunday which I haven't gone to in a very long time because i always go with my mom. I'm excited because that church means a lot to because I started going there since I was like 8 years old! That church taught me a lot of things such as, how to be an educated classy lady, and how to respect my elders, but most important to read my bible and learn from the past.

The value of Blogs

Blogs make writing assignments more fun and interesting. You can add a video
or a picture to what you re posting, it can also help you learn the likes and
dislikes of other people.Even though blogs can create a quicker work place
for students, they can be a distraction to the student because they might want
to post a music video, or a picturue that they may find interesting, to waste their time when they could be doing homework. Blogs work both ways as in
socializing and getting homework done. The students have fun and enjoy what
they are doing. Above all blogs are very use full to students and teachers in
different ways.

My Birthday 4/29

On Thursday it was my birthday and it started great! For the first time in a long time I woke up early and took a shower while I was getting ready in the bathroom my morning staff Jennifer decorated my room and brought me a sponge bob balloon because hes my favorite cartoon character, and a a dog balloon because that is my favorite animal. She also brought face paint and drew stars on the right side of my eye and a heart on the left. After school I went to the cafe because it was short day and Jennifer told me that I had to go to the house with everyone, but since only Jacinta and Kelsey were the only ones that wanted to come home we left. When we got home Jennifer told me to watch the court cases because they were interesting and she was trying to distract me so I got into the argument and then out of nowhere they started to sing happy birthday and She had in her hands an ice cream cake with 17 candles! I almost felt like crying but I didn't because I didn't want to mess up the moment. Later every one was getting ready for prom and I helped Jacinta and Aneshia get ready a little bit.When they left I started to get ready to go to the movies. Raymond and my afternoon staff Gen went to see The Back up Plan with Jennifer Lopez I thought it was funny. Above all my birth day was the best day ever and I'm glad that i turned 17!
